Heidelberg Materials is looking for a suitable person to fulfil the role of Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role is based at the Williamsdale Quarry. Williamsdale Quarry is a large volume Dacite Quarry south of Canberra, supplying both internal & external customers. Supported by an experienced Quarry Manager, your core focus is to provide leadership and direction to the maintenance staff and maintenance contractors. This hands-on role is in a complex and dynamic operation with a numerous projects ongoing and planned for the near future. It will suit an experienced person looking for new challenges. The primary job focus and responsibilities are: Accountability of all aspects of quarry maintenance, fixed and mobile equipment Overall supervision of maintenance staff and maintenance contractors Maintain high plant availability Disciplined cost control, through avoidance of waste Drive continuous improvement Leadership of a safe work environment Collaborative support for the quarry team Do you have?
